Maternal Obesity

Figure x below illustrates that levels of maternal obesity are much higher in the most deprived quintile than in the least deprived quintile, but are increasing everywhere.

Figure x shows that the proportion of women smoking during pregnancy is considerably higher in the most deprived quintile at 25% compared to only 4% in the least deprived quintile. Figure x demonstrates that a substantial decrease was recorded between 2003 and 2009 but little improvement has been made since then.
