Book Launch “Caring for Life” on Thursday 16th April 2026 in the Suttie Centre, Foresterhill, Aberdeen

The Aberdeen Medico-Chirurgical Society invites you to the launch of its latest book “Caring for Life”. The launch will take place in the Suttie Centre at Foresterhill on Thursday 16th April 2026 at 6pm, preceded by light refreshments from 5pm.

The book contains the histories of medical care in the North East of Scotland since the beginning of the NHS. Personal recollections have been written and recorded by more than 50 members of staff in the NHS and Aberdeen University and are their stories of change and adaptation. A few will be introduced at the launch.
